This is to notify you that, your Tender dated 29.02.2024, which was submitted for ‘Procurement of Rapid Pass (FeliCa IC) Card and Associated Service’ bearing a total value of Tk. 4,92,00,000/- (in words: Taka Four-Crore Ninety-Two Lac Only; including TAX deductible at source) for delivering of 1,50,000 pc Rapid Pass Card and associated service, had been negotiated and revised bearing a total value of Tk. 4,57,23,200/- (in words: Taka Four-Crore Fifty-Seven Lac Twenty-Three Thousand and Two-Hundred only; including TAX deductible at source) for delivering of 1,39,400 pc Rapid Pass Card and associated service. Consequently, your revised tender dated 03.09.2024 has been accepted and approved by the Approving Authority HoPE (Head of Procuring Entity).
Therefore, you are requested to:
i. accept in writing the NoA within 2 (Two) Working days from its day of issuance but no later than 17.10.2024 (Thursday).
ii. furnish a Performance Security in the form of Bank Guarantee (Original Copy) from any scheduled bank bearing not less than the amount of Tk. 45,72,320/- (In words: Taka Forty-Five Lac Seventy-Two Thousand Three-Hundred and Twenty Only) within 5 (Five) calendar days of acceptance of this NoA but no later than 22.10.2024 (Tuesday). The Beneficiary of the Performance Security will be ‘The Project Director, Establishment of Clearing House for Integrating Transport Ticketing System in Dhaka City and Adjacent Districts (Phase-II) Project’. The Performance Security will be valid till 23.06.2027 (inclusive of Contract Period, Warranty Period and Defects Liability Period).
iii. sign the Contract Agreement within 9 (Nine) calendar days of issuance of this NoA but no later than 24.10.2024 (Thursday). However, a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) has to be signed before signing the Contract Agreement.
iv. complete the related services (e.g. printing and 1st Issuance) and supply all the listed goods within 2 (Two) Months of signing the Contract Agreement but no later than 23.12.2024 (Monday).
You may proceed with the execution of the said Contract accordance with the Contract documents only upon completion of the tasks bearing Serial-(i) to Serial-(iii). You may also please note that, this Notification of Award (NoA) will constitute the formation of this Contract which shall become binding upon you.
