Midland Bank, Farmers Bank and Modhumoti Bank have joined the list of e-GP member banks to further ease e-GP related payments for tenderers across the country. A total of thirty six banks are now providing the facility through their branches both in the city and the urban areas. The banks have signed separate memoranda of understanding with CPTU at CPTU Bhaban, IMED, today. This brings the total number of banks equipped to facilitate e-GP related payments to thirty on January 14, 2015. The Midland Bank MD and CEO Md. Ahsanuzzaman, The Farmers Bank MD and CEO Choudhury Moshtaq Ahmed, and Modhumoti Bank MD and CEO Mizanur Rahman represented their respective banks while signing their accords with CPTU Director General Faruque Hossain in presence of IMED Secretary (In Charge) Md. Shahid Ullah Khandaker.
The Midland Bank will have the services available through its 27 branches and The Farmers Bank will provide the services to the bidders through its 26 branches nationwide, while 10 branches of Modhumoti Bank will have the e-GP payment facility. All these branches are fully Online. |
