Title : CPTU participates in e-Asia 2011
Description : December 4, 2011 The Central Procurement Technical Unit (CPTU) took part in the eAsia 2011 at the Bangabandhu International Conference Centre (BICC) at Sher-e-Bangla Nagar in Dhaka on December 1-3, 2011. At the Stall number 34 of the Bangladesh Pavilion, the CPTU displayed and showcased electronic government (e-GP) facilities developed by it under the Public Procurement Reform Project-II supported by the World Bank. A seven-member committee for the purpose was formed at IME Division with Director general of CPTU Amulya Kumar Debnath as its Converner, and Director &ICT Focal Point, Coordination and MIS Sector Abul Kalam Azad as the member-secretary. The other members of the committee were System Analyst Md Mosharraf Hossain, Programmer Mohammad Asadul Hoque of CPTU, Programmer of IMED Evaluation Sector Muhammad Moshiur Rahman, Programmer, Coordination and MIS Sector of IMED Md Moazzem Hossain and e-GP/MIS Consultant of PPRP-II, CPTU, Mohammed A. Mansur. During the summit Director General of CPTU also spoke at a seminar on Best Practices on e-Service Delivery.
