INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT

| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The overall objective of the services shall cover, but not limited to the following scope:
Architect:
a) Prepare architectural design-drawing with 3D views for all infrastructures or any other structures, which are required for project development.
b) Preparation of progress reports and other works related reports.
c) Preparation of Project Schedule using project management tools.
d) Perform duties which deems fit by the appointing authority.
Structural Engineer:
a) Prepare structural design drawing of all infrastructures or any other structures that are required for project development.
b) Periodic supervision and quality control of civil construction works.
c) Preparation of progress reports and other works related reports.
d) Preparation of Project Schedule using project management tools.
e) Perform duties which deems fit by the appointing authority.
Geotechnical Engineer:
a) Investigation of site soil and preparation of foundation design of any structures that are required for project development.
b) Periodic supervision and quality control of civil construction works.
c) Preparation of progress reports and other works related reports.
d) Preparation of Project Schedule using project management tools.
e) Perform duties which deems fit by the appointing authority.

Architect:
a) At least Bachelor of Architecture from any reputed University. (b) At least 10 (Ten) years of experience in the architectural design including infrastructure development under the Government/ Semi-Govt./Autonomous /Private Bodies. (c) Must have expertise on computer-aided software in sketch-up and 3D Max/Revit. Computer skills including Auto CAD, Microsoft Offices (word, excel, powerpoint and MIS Systems). (d) Age not exceeding 45 years. (e) Preference will be given to the candidates having Master’s Degree in Architecture.
Structrual Engineer:
a) At least Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from any reputed University.(b) At least 10 (Ten) years of experience in the structural design under the Government/ Semi-Govt./Autonomous/ Private Bodies. (c) Must have extraordinary written communication skills and expertise on computer-aided software in ETABS/ STAAD Pro/SAFE/SAP and in Project Management with MS Project/ Primavera. Computer skills including Auto CAD, Microsoft Offices (word, excel, power point and MIS Systems). (d) Age not exceeding 45 years. (e) Preference will be given to the candidates having Master’s Degree in Structural Engineering.
Geotechnical Engineer:
a) At least Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from any reputed University.(b) At least 10 (Ten) years of experience in the geotechnical field under the Government/ Semi-Govt./Autonomous/ Private Bodies.(c) Must have extraordinary written communication skills and expertise on computer-aided software in AutoCAD, MicroStation, SOILVISION, GeoStudio, MATLAB, PLAXIS, Microsoft Offices (word, excel, power point and MIS Systems) (d) Age not exceeding 45 years. (e) Preference will be given to the candidates having Master’s Degree in Geotechnical Engineering.
Interested Candidates shall have to submit the Request for Application (RFA) along with 03 (three) copies of passport size photograph, copy of NID, copy of all certificates of Educational, job Experience, training and eligibility of the post. Submitted documents may be verified if deemed necessary. |

1. Consultant will be selected using the Selection of Individual Consultant (SIC) sub-method in accordance with the PPA-2006, PPR-2008 and its amendments.
2. Interested consultants are required to submit their expressions of interest in accordance with the standard Request for Application (RFA), which may be obtained by the office of the undersigned during office hours within 31 March, 2024. The copy of relevant documents shall also be found at http://www.bepza.gov.bd
3. Other required conditions and documents of the Request for Application (RFA) documents must be fulfilled.
4. The Application in two sets (1 original+ 1 duplicate) shall be submitted in sealed envelope & delivered to the address of the under signed up to 1.00 PM by 01 April, 2024 & clearly marked as Request for Expression of Interest for the “Selection of Individual Consultant for Patuakhali Export Processing Zone Project”.The Application can also be sent through e-mail (pd.pepz@bepza.gov.bd).
