| Brief Description of Assignment |

Building Climate Resilient Livelihoods in Vulnerable Landscapes in Bangladesh (BCRL) Project is a GEF funded (through FAO with its technical support) USD 8.93 million project during FY2023-2024 to FY2027-2028. The overarching objective of this project is to improve the resilience of people, communities, and ecosystems to climate change, and improve livelihoods through increased value addition in the agricultural food systems of Bangladesh. The project implementation agency Department of Environment (DoE), is going to engage the following individual consultants for DoE Components under BCRL Project. Required Qualification & Experience
(A) Climate Change Adaptation Coordinator, 60 Man-Month Project office, DoE Dhaka : • Advanced university degree in agriculture science, climate change, natural resources, social sciences or a related field
• 15 years of relevant experience in project and/or programme implementation and management in areas related to agriculture or rural development, climate change adaptation, and/or sustainable food systems
• PhD degree in climate change adaptation related field will be given preference
• Prior experience of working with donor-funded projects implemented by Government of Bangladesh, particularly through the national agricultural research or extension system, and international organization
(B) Data Processing Operator cum Office Associate, 60 Man-Month, Project office, DoE Dhaka: • Advanced university degree in Computer Science, Computer Applications, or other related area
• 5 years of experience as a Data processing / Computer operator
• Preference will be given to the candidates who have experienced of working in the donor funded GoB projects/ GoB projects (DPP/ TAPP)
(C) Finance/Accounts Officer, 60 Man-Month Project office, DoE Dhaka : • University degree in accounting, finance or related field
• 5 years of experience in budgeting, planning and reporting on projects funded by the international development organizations; and experience with international auditing requirements
• Knowledge in administrative and accounting procedures of the government |

Deserving candidates must have:
• Willingness to travel across project related regions frequently
• Ability and experience of working with line ministries and departments in Bangaldesh
• Excellent communication, reporting as well as written and oral presentation skill both in English and Bangla
• Ability to Operate Standard Office Equipment, Photocopy, Fax, Scanner, Printer etc
• Knowledge on Project Management, Project Planning & Implementation.
• Demonstrated experience with procurement of goods, works & services (if necessary), preferably in the public sector
• Excellent IT/computer skill including MS Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint) and Outlook
