| Brief Description of Assignment |

The Health Economics Unit is the focal point for implementing universal health coverage in Bangladesh. The Bangladesh National Health Accounts (BNHA) Cell of the HEU conducts the BNHA and the Public Expenditure Review (PER) to analyze and describe the financing of the national health system. National Health Accounts (NHA) are a tool, which describes the expenditure flows – both public and private – within the health sector of a country. They describe, in an integrated way, the sources, uses and channels for all funds utilized in the whole health system.

MBBS from recognized Public/ Private Medical College
Required Work Experience :
2 YEARS in RESEARCH POSITIONS in the Health Sector at recognized Public/ Private/ NGO/ International Agencies

in Public Health/ Health Economics/ Economics/ Health Technology Assessment/ Other Relevant Fields from recognized institutions
WORKING EXPERIENCE
in research positions in the Health Sector in PUBLIC ORGANIZATIONS
TECHNICAL SKILL
in HEALTH RELATED CODING (ICD-10 coding, ATC Coding, ICPC 2 Coding)
