INFORMATION FOR APPLICANT
|
| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
a) Carry out training needs assessment of IT Sector of Bangladesh.
b) Preparing Request for Proposal (RFP) of the training program for the Establishment of IT/Hi-Tech Park at District Level (12 Districts) Project.
c) Organizing, Monitoring, and supervising the training program arranged by the Establishment of IT/Hi-Tech Park at District Level (12 Districts) Project.
d) Monitoring and supervising the prescribed training program conducted by the training institute.
e) Designing & developing training course module and schedule.
f) Designing, organizing and management of training programs and providing logistic support i.e arrange venue, transport, training materials etc.
g) Assist in identifying the best available resource/personnel as instructor under the modules to carry out the training.
h) Develop training plans and maintain training calendar.
i) Maintain liaison with the resource person, public and private sector stakeholders.
j) Assist other team members of PIU in their work as directed by PD.
k) Carry out other assignments prescribed by the PD/ Project Authority.

| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |
: |
a) At least six (06) years of relevant experience in the field of training & management of which minimum four (04) years in training & two (02) years in Management/Administrative field in in Government project of Bangladesh.
b) Previous experience in preparing, circulating, receiving, evaluating of Request for Proposal (RFP) for IT/ITES training is required.
c) Knowledge of assessment methodologies, monitoring tools & evaluation tools is required.
d) Organizing training courses at home/abroad, conducting training needs assessment, working in training related organization is required.
e) Must have excellent communication and presentation (oral and written) skills in Bangla and English.
f) The candidate should have Computer skills including operation of Word, Excel, Power Point, web design & development and editing web sites etc. & programming with R, Python, Big Data Analytics will get preference.
g) The candidate having Certificate of Project Management Professional (PMP) will get preference.
h) The candidate having Certificate on Information Technology Passport Examination (IP) of Information Technology Engineers Examination (ITEE) by Bangladesh IT-engineers Examination Center (BD-ITEC) will get preference.
i) Previous experience of working in any donor/ GoB funded project is required.
j) Capacity to work in a multi-disciplinary team environment.
k) Ability to work under pressure and time bound conditions.
l) Proficiency in report writing & presentation.

The project authority invites eligible applicants to express their interest in providing the services. Interested applicants are requested to provide information indicating that they are qualified and competent to perform the services (A complete CV with three (03) copy recent passport size photograph, photocopy of academic, training & experience certificate and other details as required as per the application forms (RFA) provided by the undersigned). Expressions of interest (EOI) shall be submitted by the applicants on or before 19/10/2023, 02.00 PM in sealed envelope delivered to the undersigned and be clearly marked “Request for expression of interest for selection of National Individual Consultant: Training Management Specialist” on the top of the envelop. |
