| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

14. Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required: Advanced degree in agricultural extension, horticulture, agribusiness or any other related field. Proven professional experience in project implementation and management relating to livelihoods and rural development, and/or engaging in agricultural extension and advisory activities. At least 5 years of experience in supporting the monitoring and evaluation of donor-funded projects. Prior experience of working with donor-funded projects implemented by Government of Bangladesh, particularly through the national agricultural research or extension system. Willingness to travel frequently across project geographies in the targeted region. Ability and experience of working across line ministries and departments. Good communication, reporting and presentation skills in English. Excellent communication, reporting and presentation skills in Bangla. |

15. Other details: The consultant will be based at respective geography of the BCRL project and will report directly to the National Project Director, MoEFCC, Dhaka, Bangladesh. The Individual Consultant will work closely with other consultants working at the PMU. The consultant is expected to undertake the activities (scope of services) mentioned in the TOR in order to achieve the stated objectives. Under this consultancy travels are being envisaged. However, travels necessary for the exigencies of services to achieve the desired objectives, may be undertaken but with prior permission of the NPD and in such cases only the actual costs will be reimbursement. The deliverables will be submitted in electronic and hardcopy form on time by the consultant to the NPD, BCRL, Dhaka Bangladesh. |
