Brief Description of Assignment |

Change Management
• Apply a structured methodology and lead change management activities: Apply a change management process and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.
• Lead the preparation and implementation of change management initiatives and interventions across the program
• Support communication efforts: Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications.
• Assess the change impact: Conduct impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders.
• Design and conduct change management assessments.
• Identify, analyze and prepare risk mitigation tactics.
• Identify and manage anticipated resistance.
• Consult and coach project teams.
• Create actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan.
• Support and engage senior leaders.
• Coach Managers and supervisors.
• Support organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities.
• Integrate change management activities into project plan.
• Evaluate and ensure user readiness.
• Track and report issues.
• Define and measure success metrics and monitor change progress.
• Support change management at the organizational level.
• Manage the change portfolio.
• Ensuring that lessons learned are integrated into program implementation to continuously improve quality of interventions and outcomes.
• Develop a communication strategy following SPFMS Program vision, mission, and strategy;
• Provide support in the development of a communication strategies for the Programs and identify requirements for implementation;
• Prepare press releases, media briefs, reports, talking points, newsletters, brochures, and visibility materials and organize advocacy and communication campaigns;
• Advice the PEC on aspects of the project’s key communication opportunities and emerging messages;
• Provide expertise and technical advice on information tools and communication strategies;
• Proactively come up with innovative communication ideas which can add value;
• Maintain professional relationship with mainstreaming media (Newspaper, TV, and Radio) to promote SPFMS's programs and mitigate all potential risk form local to national level;
• Capacity of staff on collecting & writing stories, taking good photo and video footage;
• Number of workshops/orientations/training conducted on story writing/telling, photography, branding, media risk mitigation, spokesperson;
• Plan, coordinate, and execute events for internal and external stakeholders;
• Organize and manage events that may include: training, workshops, exposure tours, VIP site visits, press conferences, round table discussions etc.;
• Design and layout communication materials (e.g. reports, posters, info-graphics, images, dynamic presentations, etc.) using a variety of software including Photoshop, Illustrator, Word and PowerPoint for internal and external audiences, and for presentation, print media and online use;
• Develop materials to educate staff on communication practices;
• Coach and assist team members on improving communication skill;
• Perform communications research and monitor the progress of various communications strategies;
• Guide the design of a monitoring mechanism to support the implementation of the communications strategy and measure its effectiveness;
• Providing capacity building to the staff and following up on work plans and quality of advocacy and communication products;
• Respond to media inquiries, arrange interviews, and act as a spokesperson for the Program;
• Engagement and outreach for wider dissemination of program results and lessons learned;
• Any other duties as assigned by the PECT and NPD. |
Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |
: |
• Post Graduate Degree in Mass Communication/Journalism/International Relations/ Media Studies or any relevant field.
• Applicants must have overall working experience of 10 years with at least 3 years’ experience in public relations/ corporate communications/ strategic communications /digital and social media platforms / journalism and any other related field
• Strong analytical and writing skills both in English and Bengali
• Experience on digital communication (graphics design, photography, videography, PowerPoint, Microsoft word and excel) will be an advantage. |
