| Brief Description of Assignment |
: |
The LGED, an implementing agency of the Project intends to apply a portion of the proceeds of this credit to eligible payments under the contract for which this Request for Expression of Interest is invited.
The Project Director, RIVER, invites Request for Expression of Interest to provide the consulting services for Environmental Consultant under RIVER Project. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |
: |
Educational Qualification :
Master’s in Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or equivalent.
Experience required:
10 years of experience as Civil/Environmental Engineer, Environmental Scientist, Environmental Planner or related field, and 5 years of experience as Environmental Consultant in conducting environmental assessments of road, water, wastewater or other infrastructure sector of similar nature and complexity.
Prior experience in preparing Environmental and Social Management Frameworks (ESMFs). Environmental and Social Impact Assessments (ESIAs), and Environmental and Social Management Plans (ESMPs) in accordance with World Bank Environmental and Social Framework (ESF) is a plus.

Suitability:
• Experience in World Bank/ADB or other development partner funded project.
• Experience in the Project Area.
Consultant will be selected based on Open Competitive Selection of Individual Consultant procedures in accordance World Bank’s Procurement Regulation for IPF Borrowers (Fourth edition, November 2020) which can be found at the following website: www.worldbank.org/procure. The duration of the assignment is 48 months. More details on the services are provided in the Terms of Reference can be found at the following link: www.lged.gov.bd
