| Brief Description of Assignment |

Senior Consultant (Dicot): (a) Verification of the accuracy of the identified dicot plant specimens; (b) writing up manuscripts of illustrated books to be published; (c) preparing reports, leaflets, posters etc.; (d) preparing theme papers and presentations; (e) determining the accuracy of the methodology of survey work and assess the quality of collected plant samples; and (f) other duties assigned by the PD.
Junior Consultant (Research): (a) Accepting plant samples collected from field after checking the quality; (b) preparing a database of herbarium specimens; (c) assisting senior consultants in verifying the accuracy of identified plant specimens and in composing books; (d) uploading plant species information on the website; (e) assisting to organize meetings, seminars and workshops; and (f) other duties assigned by the PD. |
| Experience, Resources and Delivery Capacity Required |

Senior Consultant (Dicot): (a) PhD with second class M.Sc degree in Botany; (b) fifteen years experiences in plant taxonomy; (c) fifteen research publications; (d) minimum age 45 years; and (e) one year experience as a consultant of similar work.
Junior Consultant (Research): (a) M.Sc degree with second class B.Sc Honors degree in Botany; (b) maximum age 45 years; and (c) two years experiences in plant survey and sample identification work. |
