INFORMATION FOR TENDERER

Only eligible Bidders with the following key qualifications defined in the Bidding Document may participate in this bidding:
(i) The Bidders shall have experience of successful completion as main Service Provider within the last 05 years of at least 01 (one) contract each valued at USD 74,370 or BDT 8,200,000 with nature, and complexity similar to the scope of services described in Section 6: Scope of Services. Contract for providing Transportation Service on hiring/rental basis for public and private sector will be treated as similar nature service.
(ii) The Bidders shall have minimum average annual turnover of USD 76700 or BDT 8,457,000 calculated as total payments received by the Bidder for contracts completed or under execution over the last 03 years.

Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB. The Government of Bangladesh has received financing from the Asian Development Bank (ADB) toward the cost of ‘South Asia Subregional Economic Cooperation (SASEC) Integrated Trade Facilitation Sector Development Program (SDP)’, and it intends to apply part of the proceeds of this financing to payments under the contract. Bidding is open to Bidders from eligible source countries of ADB.
The National Board of Revenue (“the Purchaser”) invites sealed bids from eligible Bidders for ‘Transportation service (Vehicle hire service)’.
Open competitive bidding will be conducted in accordance with ADB’s Single-Stage: One-Envelop procedure and is open to all Bidders from eligible countries as described in the Bidding Document.
A complete set of Bidding Documents in English may be purchased by interested eligible bidders upon payment of non-refundable fees of Tk. 1,000 and upon submission of a written application to the address as mentioned during normal office hours on all working days up to day before the submission deadline.
Bids must be delivered to the mentioned address on or before the bid submission deadline i.e. 22 April 2024 at 14:00 hrs. (Bangladesh Standard Time). All bids must be accompanied by a Bid Security in the amount as stated in the bidding document (Bid Data Sheet). Late Bids shall be rejected.
Bids will be opened promptly after the deadline for bid submission in the presence of Bidders’ representatives who choose to attend.
The Purchaser will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by bidders in connection with the preparation or delivery of bids.
The Purchaser reserves all the rights to accept any bid or to reject any or all bids as per ITB Clause 39.1. |
